In this podcast episode, I had a conversation with Brent Steele, the owner and founder of Steele Athletics, where we discussed how to be best prepared for All Star Cheer tryouts. Brent talks about key factors that both athletes and parents should consider before tryouts. If you are an aspiring All Star Cheer athlete or a parent of one, you don’t want to miss this informative and practical conversation.
Brent Steele is from a small Oklahoma town now residing in Colorado. Brent graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Public Relations focused on professional sports PR and Marketing. While Brent’s dreams of working for the Dallas Cowboys quickly shifted into all things cheer, his love for people and building strong relationships never changed. Brent has unique experience in our industry: school athlete, All Star cheer athlete, college athlete, school coach, allstar coach, college coach, choreographer, D2 gym owner, and now he’s a multi-location D1 gym owner and businessman. Brent has been chosen to speak at multiple conferences as well as sat on many leadership boards as his passion for the cheerleading industry can be seen in everything that he is involved in. Fun fact, Brent spent a season living in Norway spreading his love for cheerleading with international athletes.
